Byenveni! The Haiti Advocacy Working Group (HAWG) welcomes you to our Haiti 2 Year Commemoration website. Here you will find more information about the HAWG, a list of our 2 year recommendations to the US government and international financial institutions, in both English and French, the schedule of 2 year commemoration events in both English and French and photos, blogs and media coverage of the events. You can also learn more about the amazing Haitian grassroots and Diaspora partners who came to Washington, DC to testify before the U.S. Congress and read the report of the commemoration events, including details from the 5 congressional briefings sponsored by Representatives Frederica Wilson (FL-17), Barbara Lee (CA-09), Yvette D. Clarke (NY-11), Donald Payne (NJ-10,) and Maxine Waters(CA-35).
